I'm writing a review before finishing the book for the first time ever

This book is so helpful that I'm reviewing a book for the first time before I've even finished it. It's short, easy to read and understand, and explains exactly how the body is physically affected by stress. And, one of the most amazing things to me was the explanation of the stages of stress and how we ignore them and then get even more stressed which takes us in a downward spiral that becomes ever more difficult to escape and can end in illness or inability to function. I can't say enough for this book. I've highlighted and made notes and done the exercises and I'm literally going from deep stress that has been interfering with my life to feeling calm. I'm going to keep this book all my life and refer to it frequently. It's easy to get caught in a web of stress and not really be aware of it even if you think you already know about stress.
