Broad and deep at the same time

Dr Wilson's book had a profound effect on me and i read it almost non-stop for about 2 days at first, and finished it in 5. It captures many potential reasons for various behaviours - mostly related directly to an African origin male suffering racism, the rest indirectly related to it .
It helped me to recognise that i had been influenced by racism much more than i had thought and helped me to recognise that problem in others.
As an aspiring educator, this book had given me a good insight into the deep emotional and psychological effects racism has on young teen and adolescents of African origin in particular. An excellent read for anyone studying racism in western society and in western education

Nicholas Emond has been working in Information Technologies for the last eleven years. His past jobs were as a programmer with VB.NET, administrator of a corporate SharePoint intranet and business intelligence developer when he started to use the Microsoft BI stack since SQL Server 2005. Currently, he is a business intelligence consultant working in Montreal, Canada. Nicholas has certifications in Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SharePoint and he is a Competent Communicator from Toastmasters International. Good if you are new to MDX

Good book and targets absolute novice audience. Gives a good base on MDX with some good examples although not properly formatted code. I like the MDX steps breakdown of SELECT..FROM...WHERE in particular. More examples of MDX functions and properly formatted examples would have made this book a good reference guide. Not a bad start though.

Garbage- it's all of 26 pages of content. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Shame on you Packt publishing. This pamphlet should be given out for free. Junk. Just Junk.

A good starter

A good book for absolute novices. Does not cover any detailed concepts on MDX like SCOPE, Exists, IIF statements etc.
